Obstetrics & Gynecology - Detroit

Gain hands on experience in both outpatient and inpatient Obstetrics and Gynecology through a 4 week rotation in Detroit, Michigan. Participants work alongside physicians affiliated with Beaumont Dearborn Hospital and Garden City Hospital, gaining exposure to prenatal care, gynecologic consultations, contraceptive management, women’s health services, and hospital based patient care. The rotation includes a combination of clinic days and hospital exposure, with opportunities to participate in patient histories, obstetric assessments, fetal heart rate monitoring, fundal height measurements, and preventive care discussions. Eligible participants may also observe surgical procedures and hospital rounds through affiliated hospital credentialing. A hospital letterhead Letter of Recommendation is awarded based on performance.
